Biography

Margaret Scheffler is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics and a clinician educator at Hasbro Children's Hospital. She is a board-certified pediatric intensivist, and her expertise centers around the Pediatric Sedation Service. After completing her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Texas Children's Hospital, she has since contributed to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows in caring for critically ill children. She works as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Sedation and PICC Service, collaborating to provide high-quality sedation services for children across Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. Originally from Connecticut, she currently resides in Rhode Island with her husband and children.
