Biography

Margarita V. Revzin, MD, MS, FAIUM currently serves as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale University School of Medicine. She specializes in vascular, abdominal, gynecologic ultrasound, and emergency radiology. Dr. Revzin has received her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s Degrees in Biology from New York University, and her MD degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Westchester County Medical Center, NY, followed by a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwell University/Health System and a fellowship in Abdominal Interventional Imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Revzin began her academic radiology career in 2009 and has made significant contributions to medical education, having received multiple awards including the RSNA Honored Educator Award. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented at national and international meetings. Dr. Revzin is an active member of several national committees and organizations and currently serves as Vice President of NERRS and Assistant Editor of the Ultrasound RadioGraphics journal. Her research focuses on improving diagnostic methods in her areas of expertise.
