Maria Cuartero Botia, born in Murcia, Spain, studied BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Advanced Chemistry at the University of Murcia. Her research focuses on developing new fundamental concepts in electroanalysis and has been supported by prestigious grants including an ERC Starting Grant and a Swedish VR-Starting Grant. Her interests include environmental water electroanalysis, enzymatic biosensors, wearable sensors for healthcare, and spectroelectrochemistry.
