Dr. Maria Gröndal

Biography

Maria Gröndal is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gothenburg in the Department of Psychology. Her research interests primarily focus on clinical psychology, particularly in the areas of irritability, anger, and their relation to menstrual cycles and premenstrual dysphoria. She has contributed to the understanding of how hormonal changes influence emotional stability and reactive aggression in women. In her recent studies, she employs the Ultimatum Game to measure irritability and anger, aiming to gain insights into emotional responses in non-clinical samples and patients with premenstrual dysphoria.
