Professor Dr. Maria Polukarov

Biography

Maria Polukarov is a Reader in Computer Science at King's College London, where she also serves as a PGR Deputy Senior Tutor and Director of the Distributed Artificial Intelligence Research Group. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Editorial Board Member for Electronic Commerce Research and Applications. Her research interests focus on Algorithmic Game Theory, Computational Social Choice, Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Agent Systems, Strategic Voting Candidacy, and Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning. Maria has contributed significantly to the field through various publications, including conference papers and journal articles that explore topics such as market making, voting strategies, and robust mechanisms in economic and social contexts. She is actively involved in exploring how AI can be integrated into finance, emphasizing the need for intelligent entities to navigate complex social and economic landscapes.
