Biography

Maria Varaki is a lecturer in International Law at King's College London, where she co-directs the War Crimes Research Group. She has previously held research positions at the Erik Castren Institute of International Law and Human Rights in Helsinki and the Law Faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Varaki also served as an Assistant Professor of International Law at Kadir University in Istanbul.
