Biography

Marianna J. Yang is a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, where she supervises and trains law students in the Family Justice Clinic, focusing on representing survivors of intimate partner violence in family law cases, including divorce, paternity, and child custody matters in the Probate and Family Courts of Massachusetts. She has extensive experience in Mass Tort litigation and previously represented both plaintiffs and defendants in significant cases. In addition to her clinical teaching role, Marianna serves on the Massachusetts Child and Family Law Division Trial and Appellate Panels, and is a trained mediator, affiliated with the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council. Since her appointment in 2020, she has co-taught the Family Justice Seminar, helping to educate the next generation of legal practitioners in this vital area.
