Marianne Wheeldon is a Professor of Music Theory at the Butler School of Music, University of Texas at Austin. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from King’s College, University of London, and her Ph.D. from Yale University. She has authored several publications, including books and articles focusing on Debussy's legacy and music criticism in France, to advance understanding of these topics in music theory and history.
