Professor Dr. Marie Anne Rosemberg

Biography

Marie-Anne Sanon Rosemberg is an Associate Professor and Director of the Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) Program at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. With a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, she focuses her research on occupational health disparities, especially among youth and adult working populations at risk for chronic diseases. Her work addresses significant gaps in understanding the effects of socioecological stressors on health outcomes, specifically chronic conditions that emerge due to inadequate occupational health policies. She utilizes innovative qualitative and quantitative research approaches to study how these stressors impact physical and mental health. Dr. Rosemberg has held prominent roles in various professional organizations and serves as a mentor to undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes interactive learning and the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. She is actively involved in multiple research grants and programs aimed at improving occupational health safety and wellbeing for marginalized worker groups.
