Biography

Marie-Lyne Nault obtained her medical degree in 2006 from the University of Montreal after completing a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and a master's degree in biomedical sciences. Her interest in locomotor and movement science led her to an orthopedic surgery residency, where she finished on the Dean's honor list in 2011. During her residency, she also pursued her doctoral studies in biomedical sciences. Her first year of fellowship was divided between completing her doctorate and additional training in foot/ankle at the University of Montreal. Subsequently, she completed a second year of fellowship at Harvard University in pediatric sports medicine. Dr. Nault is based at Hôpital Ste-Justine with activities associated with Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur. Her clinical practice includes foot/ankle surgery, hip arthroscopy, and pediatric sports knee surgery. Her research interests focus on the study of syndesmosis, combining both foot/ankle and sports medicine. She is currently developing a pediatric sports medicine center that integrates treatment, research, prevention, and education, positioning it as a leading reference in Quebec.
