Biography

Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen is a Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Geneva's School of Economics and Management. She has an extensive background in law, having obtained her Ph.D. in Law, a Master of Law, and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. As a corporate attorney-at-law, she serves as Counsel at the business law firm Tavernier Tschanz in Geneva, focusing on Corporate Governance, Corporate Law, and commercial contracts. Zen-Ruffinen is also the Chairman of the Swiss Board Institute and a member of the Board of Directors of both the Swiss Institute of Directors and Bâloise Group. She has authored and co-authored numerous publications including the significant reference book "Le Conseil d’administration," published in February 2017.
