Biography

Marie Dumollard is an assistant professor at the School of Social Work at the University of Montreal since July 2022. She focuses on the pathways of adolescents and young adults who encounter the judicial system, those under dual mandates (penal and protective), the transition to adulthood, youth justice interventions, and public youth and socio-penal action. She completed her PhD in Public Administration and Political Science in international co-tutelle at the École nationale d'administration publique and the University of Rennes 1 in France, addressing public socio-judicial action supporting the transition to adulthood of youth in the juvenile justice system in Quebec. Additionally, she has conducted a postdoctoral fellowship in sociology and criminology at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique – Urbanization Culture Society Center and the School of Social Work and Criminology at Laval University, focusing on employment support practices for adjudicated young adults.
