Biography

Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal, Marie Annik Grégoire earned her PhD from McGill University. Her doctoral thesis, awarded the 2008 Minerva Prize, was published as 'Liberté, responsabilité et utilité: la bonne foi comme instrument de justice'. Additionally, her master’s thesis won a prize in 2002 and was published as 'La bonne foi dans la formation et l'élaboration du contrat'. Professor Grégoire teaches courses on civil law, family law, the rights of natural persons, and various aspects of contract law, including residential rental agreements and company surety bonds. She completed her Bachelor's Degree at Université de Montréal, graduating with the highest distinction. Before starting her academic career, she practiced civil and commercial litigation in Montreal-based law firms. Her research interests focus on Law obligations, Contracts, and issues related to consumer rights and health law.
