Biography

Marie Lordkipanidze completed her pharmacy training at the University of Montreal in 2004. She then completed a master's and a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences at the same university in 2010. Subsequently, she pursued her postdoctoral training at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, where she distinguished herself and established her expertise in platelet function. Dr. Lordkipanidze is chair of the scientific committee on platelet physiology of the International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis and serves on the editorial boards of specialized journals such as Platelets, Thrombosis Research, and THOpen. She is a frequent invited speaker at national and international congresses and has published over a hundred articles, book chapters, and scientific communications. As a full professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy, she supervises undergraduate and graduate students in her laboratory located at the Montreal Heart Institute's research center.
