Marie B. Somogyi, M.D. is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology at Dell Medical School. Somogyi specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, having completed a fellowship accredited by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at TOC Eye & Face. She also finished an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery-accredited fellowship focusing on facial cosmetic surgery. Somogyi has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the field and has presented her research at respected national meetings. Committed to providing exceptional care, she has worked with the Face Foundation in Vietnam, performing surgeries for congenital facial defects. In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing sports, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
