Biography

Marina Catallozzi, MD, MSCE, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Mailman School of Public Health. She serves as the Vice Chair for Education in Pediatrics and was the Pediatric Clerkship Director, as well as the Director of Pediatric Medical Student Education. With board certifications in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Catallozzi specializes in adolescent medicine and maintains an active practice in Washington Heights, focusing on improving community health through a strengths-based approach to adolescent patient care. Her research interests encompass adolescent and young adult access to confidential clinical preventive services, relationship violence, parent communication, decision-making, and clinical trial participation for pregnancy prevention. Dr. Catallozzi also directs the General Public Health program, which is noted for being the largest accelerated MPH program in the school and includes co-leading the Sexuality and Sexual Reproductive Health Certificate. She completed her medical degree and Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at Brown University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science.
