Biography

Mario Milone's research focuses on the real effects of financial statements and accounting rules, exploring the understanding of information flow and information processing. His work aims to utilize new theoretical and empirical techniques, influenced by artificial intelligence, to enhance the understanding of the trade-offs inherent in accounting rules and to assist in developing efficient regulatory frameworks. Mario earned his Master of Research in Finance and Ph.D. in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University in 2018. He also holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from INSA Toulouse and a Master of Research in Artificial Intelligence from University Paul Sabatier Toulouse. Mario spent one year at Harvard University and another year at Hong Kong University, focusing on Computer Science studies. He was awarded a prize for his thesis in Corporate Finance by the French Finance Association in 2019.
