Mario Ramos Hamud is a current PhD student in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at St. Edmund's College, University of Cambridge. His research focuses on aspects of cosmology and string theory, particularly the implications of moduli fields and the generic string compactifications that dominate the energy density of the universe during the epoch of cosmological inflation. He is under the supervision of Professor Fernando Quevedo and is jointly supported by CONACyT and the Cambridge Trust. Mario completed his MSc in Theoretical Physics at Instituto de Física, UNAM, and earned his BSc in Physics from the Faculty of Sciences, UNAM. His academic journey has included various assistant teaching roles at UNAM, where he supported classes in subjects such as Relativity, Modern Physics, and Electromagnetism. He has also been involved in multiple conferences and training schools related to string cosmology and high energy physics, presenting his work on topics of significant relevance in the field.
