Biography

Marios Christou became a member of the academic staff in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London in 2012. He achieved a class honours undergraduate MEng degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College, during which he spent his final year abroad at École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris. Following this, he returned to Imperial College to undertake a PhD focused on Fluid Mechanics, specifically on fully nonlinear waves and wave-structure interaction, under the supervision of Professor Chris Swan. His research interests include marine coastal environments and fluid mechanics, where he actively contributes to academic advancements in these areas.
