Marios Savvides is the Bossa Nova Robotics Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Director of the CyLab Biometrics Center at Carnegie Mellon University. He has authored over 240 publications and has a significant patent portfolio, with 15 issued patents. Marios has also served as Chief AI Scientist at Bossa Nova Robotics, leading efforts to enhance AI algorithms for retail robotics, and has been involved in various initiatives and committees regarding the ethical implications of biometric technologies.
