Biography

Marjolein Oele is a Professor in the Philosophy of Humanities at Radboud University, where she holds a chair position aimed at building bridges between the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies and the Faculty of Arts. Her research focuses on Ancient Philosophy, Continental Philosophy, and Environmental Philosophy. Her publications span a range of journals, including Environmental Philosophy and Radical Philosophy Review, and she actively participates in research projects addressing affects in the Anthropocene. Oele serves as Editor-in-Chief for Environmental Philosophy from July 2023 to June 2026.
