Biography

Mark Aronchick is a distinguished lecturer in law at Penn Carey Law. Graduating with honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 1974, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and also received his BA, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. His career includes serving as the youngest City Solicitor in the history of Philadelphia, as well as positions on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association and as Treasurer. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has chaired committees relating to the Federal Rules of Evidence. Aronchick has extensive trial and appellate experience, focusing on diverse areas such as health care litigation, financial institutions, antitrust, environmental issues, and more. He has lectured on trial advocacy, litigation techniques, and professional ethics, and is involved in civic and community organizations, receiving numerous awards for his leadership and pro bono work.
