Biography

Mark Burman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at McGill University and an Orthopedic Surgeon at the McGill University Health Center. He serves as the CTU Director for the MUHC Orthopedic Sports Medicine Service and is the Fellowship Director for the McGill Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Clinical Fellowship. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at McGill University and pursued further subspecialty fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and Shoulder Surgery at McGill University, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Toronto. Dr. Burman has a strong interest in providing orthopedic care to athletes across various levels, from adolescents to elite professionals. He currently acts as the Head Orthopedic Surgeon for CF Montreal (MLS) and the Montreal Alouettes (CFL), and also works with collegiate, national, and Olympic-level athletes.
