Professor Dr. Mark Campbell

Biography

Mark Campbell is the Director of the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University and holds the John Mellowes '60 Professorship in Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on estimation theory and control of autonomous and semi-autonomous systems, with particular emphasis on robotics and aerospace applications. His specific areas of research include sensor fusion, probabilistic perception, control planning under uncertainties, and human-robot interaction. He leads various research initiatives through the Campbell Research Group, where undergraduates and Master's Engineering students engage in substantial projects that support his research.
