Biography

Mark Leadbeater is the Programme Manager for the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Large-Area Electronics at the Cambridge Innovation Knowledge Centre, a role he has held since its inception in 2007. He previously managed the Device Physics research group at Cambridge Display Technology Ltd, where he was instrumental in the development of polymer light-emitting diodes. Prior to this, Mark worked as a senior researcher at Toshiba’s Cambridge Research Laboratory, where he focused on the development of gallium arsenide-based low-dimensional semiconductor devices. Mark holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham and an MA from the University of Cambridge. He has co-authored 80 scientific publications and holds 20 patents related to his research interests.
