Mark N. Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine with a secondary affiliation in the Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine. He is a member of Yale's Human Translational Immunology (HTI) Program and the Cancer Immunology Research Program at Yale Cancer Center. Dr. Lee earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. in Immunology from Harvard Medical School. His Ph.D. work focused on how common genetic variants alter immune phenotypes. Following his education, Dr. Lee completed his residency in Clinical Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and pursued a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine through the Harvard Joint Program. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Before joining the faculty at Yale, he served as an attending physician in the Blood Transfusion Service at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a physician-scientist and Principal Investigator, Dr. Lee's research interests include Adaptive Immunity, Autoimmune Diseases, and Immunotherapy, among others.
