Biography

Mark Mamlouk, MD is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He received his BSE in electrical engineering from Arizona State University and earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. After completing his radiology residency at the University of California, Irvine, he became a board-certified radiologist in 2013. He completed a two-year fellowship in neuroradiology at UCSF, where he served as chief fellow, and has since joined Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, where he works as a neuroradiologist. Dr. Mamlouk's research interests encompass neuroradiology, cutaneous vascular anomalies, and advanced techniques in spinal CSF leak management, focusing on developing methods for improved detection and treatment of spinal leaks. He is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents at Kaiser Permanente and serves in a similar capacity at UCSF and Boston University, engaging in clinical research to enhance patient care. He has received several awards for his work, including the RSNA Certificate of Merit and the ARRS Travel Grant Scholarship.
