Biography

Mark S. Rosentraub is the Bruce Joan Bickner Endowed Professor of Sports Management and director of the University of Michigan’s Center for Sport Policy. He has held this position since 2009 and previously served as the dean and professor at the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. Rosentraub founded the Ruth Ratner Miller Center for Greater Cleveland’s Future, leading research initiatives aimed at fostering partnerships for economic development in the Greater Cleveland area. His notable publications include 'Reversing Urban Decline: Sports, Entertainment, Culture Turn Cities Major League Winners' and 'Sports Finance Management: Real Estate, Entertainment, Remaking Business'. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
