Biography

Professor Mark Sleeman brings a unique wealth of experience from Monash University, having arrived in July 2011 after spending 18 years in the United States, primarily with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. where he served as Head of Metabolic Research. His expertise encompasses various aspects of diabetes, lipid disorders, therapeutic antibodies, and biotechnology, particularly studying insulin resistance and inflammatory liver diseases such as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
