Biography

Mark Walberg earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and completed his PharmD and PhD at the University of the Pacific. He joined the University of the Pacific faculty in 2009, bringing extensive experience as a community pharmacist specializing in infusion and oncology. He serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Los Angeles area, assisting with advanced community rotations, immunizations, and travel health discussions. Walberg aims to share his knowledge with future pharmacists and healthcare providers to impact patients' lives positively. He is a certified faculty trainer for the American Pharmacists Association and holds various certifications in travel health. His research focuses on enhancing vaccine uptake among underserved populations and analyzing patient costs associated with Medicare Part D. Walberg is actively involved in several professional organizations and enjoys outdoor activities with his family. He is also a small group leader at his church and engages in various community service efforts.
