Biography

Professor Zondlo's research activities focus on sources, sinks, and distributions of trace gases important for understanding air quality, carbon, nitrogen cycles, and climate change. His group develops and deploys new optical-based sensors to make innovative field measurements as part of large, multi-disciplinary field studies. The aim is to bridge spatiotemporal scales through in-situ remote sensing measurements to achieve a complete understanding of the atmosphere in relation to anthropogenic activities and the environment.
