Biography

Marleigh Stern, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at UC San Diego Health, specializing in general dermatology and treating a variety of skin conditions including acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancers. Dr. Stern has a particular interest in granulomatous inflammatory conditions. As an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, she trains residents through weekly continuity clinics and an annual resident lecture series. Dr. Stern completed her residency in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident in her final year. She earned her medical degree and completed her internship year at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Stern is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and enjoys outdoor activities with her family in her free time, along with dancing, traveling, cooking, baking, and hiking.
