Biography

Marsha Richardson is a clinical psychologist and advanced senior lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. She obtained her Psy.D. in Psychology from Widener University in 2003, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology in 2001, and a B.A. in Psychology from Swarthmore College in 1992. Since joining the faculty in 2009, Richardson has served as a Seminar Leader for the School Mental Health Counseling Program and was promoted to full-time lecturer in 2011. Her professional background includes teaching at Arcadia University and LaSalle University where she also managed various clinical services. She has also contributed to community initiatives that aim to enhance resilience in children and served as a consultant and trainer for the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health. Richardson's research focuses on professional development and creating collaborative symposiums aimed at fostering child resiliency.
