Biography

Marshall Hill is a poet, critic, and theorist who graduated with a PhD in Cultural Studies from Queen's University. His work is situated at the intersection of literature and social practice across the Americas, focusing on liberatory struggles. He particularly emphasizes Indigenous and Black poetics and aims to reconfigure received notions of literature and the human experience. His research interests extend broadly into innovative and experimental aesthetics, radical thought, and the histories of political struggle within an internationalist framework.
