Biography

Marta Erlandson is an Associate Professor in the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. She obtained her Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. Prior to that, she completed her M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Honours) in Kinesiology at the same institution. Her academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University Health Network / University of Toronto, focusing on Osteoporosis and Women's Health in 2013. Dr. Erlandson's research interests are centered around Growth Development, Women's Health, and Musculoskeletal Health. In her role, she is dedicated to advancing knowledge in these areas and is currently accepting M.Sc. graduate students interested in these topics. Dr. Erlandson has a strong commitment to mentoring and supporting students in their academic pursuits. Through her teaching, she contributes to the education of future professionals in kinesiology, providing courses on the functional basis of physical activity and physical growth and development.
