Biography

Dr. Marta Fadda is a senior researcher and lecturer in Biomedical Ethics at the Università della Svizzera italiana. She holds a Master of Bioethics (MBE) and a PhD in Health Communication from USI. Dr. Fadda's research interests lie at the intersection of clinical, public health, and biomedical research ethics, communication, and new technologies. She has previously worked as a clinical study coordinator at the Oncology Institute of Italian Switzerland (IOSI) and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Health Ethics and Policy Lab at ETH Zurich. In addition to her academic role, she is affiliated with the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics and is a member of various organizations including the Swiss School of Public Health, the International Association of Bioethics, and the American Society for Bioethics and the Humanities. She serves on the editorial board of Bioethica Forum and is a permanent member of the Ethics Committee of the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale, as well as a member of the Research Ethics Commissions at USI and SUPSI.
