Biography

Marta Iljadica is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at the University of Glasgow. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Social Science) and an LLB from the University of Sydney and completed her PhD at King’s College London. Her research focuses on intellectual property law, particularly the intersection of copyright and land law, as well as the historical aspects of copyright law. Currently, she is engaged in a Leverhulme Research Fellowship project examining intellectual property in the built environment and has published works on topics including the freedom of panorama and the regulation of architecture through copyright. Dr. Iljadica's other research interests include the qualifications of non-legal norms in property law and copyright history. She has participated in several significant projects and grants, including Horizon 2020's 'reCreating Europe: Rethinking digital copyright law' and the Carnegie Trust's research incentive grant on copyright visibility.
