Biography

Marta Lomazzi is a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Global Health, University of Geneva, where she focuses on basic research into the mechanisms of drug addiction. She joined the Institute to work as Communication Manager, primarily involved in preventive campaigns aimed at reducing the incidence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through promoting appropriate eating behaviors, particularly among university students. Since 2009, she has served as a consultant on the evaluation of public health activities in various domains. In 2011, she became the Executive Manager for the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA), where her main responsibilities included the elaboration and management of public health programs and the evaluation of activities related to important public health topics. In 2012, she also served as the Executive Coordinator for the Oral Health Working Group at WFPHA.
