Martin Brooke received a B.E. (Elect.) Degree with 1st Class Honors from Auckland University, New Zealand in 1981, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1984 and 1988, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. His research interests include analog, RF, and optoelectronic circuits, sensor interface circuits, and deployable sensor systems. He has graduated twenty Ph.D. students and holds eight U.S. patents. He is a senior member of the IEEE and has published over 160 articles in technical journals and proceedings. In addition to his research, he has received accolades for his teaching, including the Outstanding Thesis Advisor Award from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003 and the CAPERS Marion McDonald Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research from the Duke Pratt School of Engineering in 2022.
