Biography

Professor Martin Fischer's research focuses on enhancing productivity for project teams engaged in designing, building, and operating facilities while improving sustainability in the built environment. His work lays the theoretical groundwork for applications of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), which are aimed at supporting the design and delivery processes of facilities to minimize costs and maximize lifecycle value. He has published extensively in top-tier journals and is committed to integrating advanced technology in civil engineering education.
