Biography

Martin Haugh joined Imperial College Business School as an Associate Professor in 2017. Prior to this, he spent more than ten years at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Columbia University and four years working in the hedge fund industry in New York and London. He obtained his PhD in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001 and holds MSc degrees in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford and Mathematics from University College Cork. His main research interests include Computational Finance, Risk Management, Dynamic Programming, Stochastic Control, Data Science, Statistics, and Machine Learning.
