Biography

Martin Sorensen is the Senior Director of the Tax Legislation Division at the federal Department of Finance. With over 25 years of experience, he previously served as an associate partner in the Tax Department of Bennett Jones LLP, a prominent national law firm. Martin has taught Corporate Tax at Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law for several years and has made significant contributions as a co-editor for the 6th Edition of Taxation of Corporations, Partnerships, and Trusts published by Thomson Reuters.
