Biography

Martin Taylor-Rowan joined the University of Glasgow in 2016 as a PhD student and has since become a post-doctoral researcher. His prior work includes a focus on Clinical Neuropsychology before transitioning to health economics and health technology assessment. His research experience spans several departments, including the Schools of Health and Wellbeing and Cardiovascular and Metabolic Science. His research interests primarily lie in developing and assessing psychometric properties of diagnostic tools for mood disorders, particularly in the context of dementia. Currently, he is investigating the use of anticholinergic medications and their relationship with frailty and cognitive impairment. He has been involved in various research groups, including those focused on Cognitive Impairment and Dementia, and Stroke.
