Martin Törngren is a Professor in Embedded Control Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology's Mechatronics division. He served as the Chairman of the Swedish real-time systems association from 1999 to 2004 and has coordinated several international research projects. Presently, he directs TECoSA, Sweden's national competence center for Trustworthy Edge Computing Systems Applications, and he is the principal initiator of the Innovative Centre for Embedded Systems at KTH, launched in 2008.
