Biography

Martin T. Wells joined the Cornell faculty in 1987 and currently holds the title of Charles Alexander Professor of Statistical Sciences. He is a Professor of Social Statistics and Clinical Epidemiology in Health Services Research at Weill Medical School, and is an Elected Member of the Cornell Law School Faculty. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Research at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Professor Wells teaches statistical methodology to both undergraduate and graduate students, covering numerous fields including agriculture, biology, epidemiology, finance, law, medicine, nutrition, social science, and veterinary medicine. He focuses on graduate courses in statistics, contributing significantly to the academic community with his expertise in these diverse areas.
