Biography

Martine Quesnel is an Assistant Professor in the Teaching Stream and serves as the Associate Program Director and Director of Clinical Education for the Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program. She graduated from the BSc PT program at the University of Ottawa in 1998 and completed the MSc PT Advanced Standing program at the University of Toronto in 2010. Her research focus is on peer mentorship in physical therapy education. She has broad clinical experience in various practice settings, including remote areas and urban centers, as well as in continuum care environments. Martine also works as a casual physiotherapist at the Brain Program at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and is a passionate educator. Her contributions to education have been recognized with yearly awards, including the Department of Physical Therapy Exceptional Achievement Award for Education in 2017.
