Biography

Martyn McLachlan is a Professor at Imperial College London, where he has been part of the Department of Materials since 2004. Initially joining as a postdoctoral researcher on an industrially funded project led by Professor David McComb, he progressed through several academic ranks, including Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Reader, before achieving full Professorship in 2020.
