Biography

Mary-Louise Clark is an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with 25 years of experience as a facilitator, coach, trainer, and programme designer. She has a long-term association with Whitehall and the Innovation Space at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. As a visiting faculty member at the Blavatnik School of Government, she graduated from Cambridge University and initially worked as an actor in the National Theatre and London's West End. She led the creation of a specialist personal impact communication skills coaching programme and is currently the programme director of a strategic leadership programme in collaboration with Peking University. Mary-Louise has designed leadership policies for government schools, co-directed women's leadership programmes for the Razak School of Government, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science. As a part of the teaching faculty for the Women Transforming Leadership and Advanced Management Leadership programmes, she has facilitated a huge variety of government projects through the Major Projects Leadership Academy. With over 3,000 hours of experience, she acts as a lead coach for senior executives worldwide and primarily enjoys working with women in complex senior roles. Her clients include various public and private sector companies, and she designs theatre-based training interventions to address issues such as inclusion and bullying.
