Biography

Mary qualified as a midwife in 2002 and has worked in a variety of roles within the NHS, including as a labour ward midwife and providing continuity care as a caseload midwife with Albany Midwifery Practice in Kennington. Additionally, she has served as a Practice Development Midwife and a trainee Consultant Midwife. With a strong background in education, Mary is passionate about enhancing clinical skills, management of obstetric emergencies, and decision-making in midwifery practice. She enjoys using simulation techniques to reinforce learning and has experience teaching topics related to Newborn Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) and Public Health. In her clinical role, Mary continues to work with the Resuscitation Council UK as a Newborn Life Support (NLS) instructor.
