Biography

Professor Campbell’s research focuses on the measurement of race and ethnicity in surveys, and the implications of these measurements on social inequality among racial and ethnic groups. Her current projects examine the predictors of racial and ethnic identification and how these identities change over the life course. Additionally, she explores multiple dimensions of the racialized experience, including phenotype and accent. She has been an active contributor to discussions surrounding social demographics and the impacts of race and ethnicity on society.
